Streaming images on social media are an endless temptation to pack it all up, sell my dog and see, see, see the world! Okay, a bit ridiculous, no one would ever pay me for my dog… but you get the gist.
As a part-time, obsessive-compulsive perfectionist, I’d love someone to give me ONE concise list of where I should travel. The options and subjectivity surrounding the awesome affluence of opinions make my mind dream in a flurry. I’m a realist after all. I know I can’t go everywhere but letting go of my tendency to over-think my choices and just get my feet somewhere, is… well, a bit daunting.
Three weeks. Threeee weeks. We’re talking ‘working’ weeks. So, subtract 10 of those days for summer fun with my children, 3–because you just never know what might come up, and you’re (I’m) left with 2. Days, that is. See why I’m neurotic.
